Social Networking And Promotion Tips From MrGURU
Promotional tips, One of those things that can take off in any direction but has boundaries and guidelines.
Keep these in mind when putting together marketing material:
Lets just say in this case it would be approached in a "To each its own" process meaning, Depending on your type of business or message you may or may not want to use certain Social sites to get your message or product exposed. I would recommend that you have an account with the following at the least: Facebook, Linkedin, Plaxo, Yoorba, Twitter and any other sites that house mostly business minds.
Once you have your eyes set on your messages and whom you plan to target use the search tools to narrow your target market in direct. Always be sure to approach in respect and in intention to connect NOT TO SALE! We usually think that's spam.
Set up a time frame for your marketing efforts to repeat regularly so that you may maximize each message.
USE the ability to tag people in your messages and always add video and photo if possible!

- Write in a simple, straightforward style. Use short sentences and short paragraphs. Break up large text blocks with subheads.
- Try Haiku I.e 5-7-5: Five syllables, seven syllables, then five again. This technique forces you to economize and get to the fundamental point. Plus, its word rhythm is always intriguing.
- Grab attention and hold on using everything you can. Even most mundane e-mail request can still be lively, crisp and entertaining.
- Write persuasively and aim to motivate!
- Write in the active voice and use action verbs.
- Always focus on your audience as a whole and addressee their issues, but write from 1 person to another (Direct). Use YOU at all times: YOU have this problem, YOU can get this result!
- Keep the tone personal, empathetic and humble.
- Use contrast and mix up your approach to hold interest. Feel free to use long, complex sentences to explain certain critical information. Short sentences drive points home. So can a sentence fragment. Don't be afraid to begin a sentence with a conjunction. Be careful not to overuse.
- Use typographical emphasis such as UPPERCASE, BOLD and Italics.
- If you choose to use humor, do so carefully and not to offensively, unless that's your image and message.
- Make sure every promotional piece you produce is organized, clear, uncluttered, readable, legible and nicely designed or presented.

C-Tran-- Major Loss for many..
The county commissioners who voted 4-1 to shut it down say paying to run it should be the state's job.
Clearly the state says its the county.

Interviews with bus passengers this month showed a section of the metro population that faces life-changing consequences from loss of transportation. They called it "a tragedy. They called it "crazy." Some were spending big sums to break leases and move near MARTA. Some expected to lose their jobs. Others conceded that they simply were at a loss as to what to do.

Clayton County pulled the plug on its bus system in spite of the fact that local transit has traditionally been led by local government. In Georgia, 127 counties and towns run some form of transit, from big-city trains down to small-town on-call shuttles, according to the state Department of Transportation. Special transit for the handicapped and medical visits might survive, but come May Clayton will be the only one of metropolitan Atlanta's five core counties without any regular local transit.
A bill that passed the state House Friday 142-14 would allow Clayton to join MARTA. But Clayton County commission Vice Chairman Wole Ralph, who voted to cancel the service, said he had "a lot of concerns," including that Clayton funding might bail out cash-strapped MARTA. It would require both a county referendum and a vote of the commission, according to MARTA's general counsel.
Todd Long, Georgia DOT's planning director, explained that the state doesn't help pay for operations because "all successful transit systems in the country tend to be driven by local desires and local goals." Gov. Sonny Perdue said earlier this year he did not know of anything the state could do to save C-Tran.

Video Production In Atlanta
This is a blog post to inform and enlighten those in pursuit of careers and business.
I started March 2009- the decision of which path in investing should I take? With many interesting investments to make all I could think of is which has the highest demand, which will cost more to operate, which am I willing to spend time working daily? Panasonic SuperCam ag800hp ccd pro camera was first choice simply because of the deal that was presented. It almost seemed as though it was well timed! Just to enlighten you more, it was also funny how the exact same camera was used for training in community college and for church functions..
Now in 2010 as of March 9 I finally recieved power supply to operate this particular camera. Few extras still needed but ready to operate. Always one thing after another, one of simplest things for me to usually obtain- software is the one thing I cannot seem to cross. Searched all my free resource sites for the freebie and forums for pinnacle studio or adobe premiere.
Yet to find the perfect software for the job I fall into research to find someone that does have info on software, that has pro equipment and works freelance. GOOD LUCK I tell myself.
Where are all the old simple free software download sites? do the completely free still exist because filesharing on software is droping to viruses
